Our La Bolsa blend is our darkest coffee, rich, bold and full of flavor. The Brazil provides both body and hazelnut, the El Salvador contributes dark chocolate, and the caramel comes from the Guatemala. La Bolsa blend is a great morning espresso best enjoyed together with milk and will work equally well in a Moka Pot or Cafitiere.

This coffee was designed to be the perfect coffee for espresso preparation. It is a yellow bourbon, composed of 3 processes. It has 10% fully washed coffee from the State of Santo Espirito, 20% honey and 70% natural coffee from the Vale da Grama area, in the State of Sao Paulo. This coffee is very balanced in the cup. Its bouquet offers a wide aromatic palette which is confirmed in the mouth with a frank attack with notes of dried fruit and cocoa, leading onto sweeter and more long lasting aromas. Full and rich texture, generous body and powerful. Well-balanced acidity, sweet, perfect for espresso extraction. SCAA Score 84

Ayutepeque is a farm located close to Santa Ana, on the slopes of the volcano, sometimes called “Ilamatepec” (in Nahuatl, an original Aztec language). Located just below El Manzano, between 1000 and 1200 masl, on a volcanic soil, this farm covers 85 hectares. After several experiments, Emilio found that the best way to promote the farm and its coffee was to make a ‘Farm
Blend’, ideal for espresso.
Emilio Lopez, the coffee farmer created a blend of 75% washed and a 25% natural coffee (with zero defects, thanks to his vast expertise!). Since it is a medium altitude coffee, it doesn’t develop an explosive acidity but instead greater body, and aided by the terroir, notes of red fruits, hazelnut and chocolate. As well as boasting an original sensory profile, this coffee is also fully traceable. SCAA Score 84
