Our house blend showcases a Caturra lot from Finca Colombia in the Antioquia region of Colombia. We’re supporting a project from our wholesale green coffee buyer BELCO, to encourage and nuture young coffee farmers in Colombia.

The farm’s female producer, Catalina Vasquez, worked for many months to produce this coffee, experimenting with her techniques to improve quality.

This coffee is produced from fully-washed Caturra. It offers everything that a good Antioquian coffee should: a medium acidity, a great body with a cocoa-like sensation in the cup, and a long aftertaste of red fruit.

Finca Colombia has a surface area of 52.3 hectares and produces some 1,500 bags of green coffee each year. Managed by Catalina Vasquez, a passionate producer belonging to the younger generation of Colombians keen on giving the coffee industry a new lease of life, returning young people to coffee farming in Colombia. This farm grows different varieties of coffee at altitudes between 1,650 and 1,930 meters.
